Overview

You love what you’re doing right now but you feel you’re ready for the next challenge. So you have set your focus on becoming a certified PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. It’s a recommended path for recreational divers who have the ambition to pursue a career in dive education. The logical next stage after the Open Water Scuba Instructor is to progress to the PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT). Please note the connection with the Assistant Instructor Course.

Requirements:

PADI Divemaster who has been a certified diver for six months
At least 60 logged dives and 100 dives to attend the Instructor Examination.
Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months.
A medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months
